Need to decide QUICK!

Nothing like a sale price to motivate you to make a decision. Sale ends 7/12/08. BTW, that's $10 off PER gallon. Decisions, decisions. We like a color named "Stoney Creek" for the lower level...it's that upper level that's giving me fits.
I am now in the garage painting scrap pieces of wood with the various combinations. Leaning towards a green named "Walnut Grove". Decisions, decisions. It might be taking me a long time but its a decision I hope to have to live with for a long time too (and my "neighbors" will too)!
One more thing, if anyone ever tells you stripping 42 layers of paint off of 100 year old lap siding is harder than stripping it off 20 year old cedar shake...they lie. Poplar is hard and flat...cedar shake is neither. The result is can I say "shaggy".
Update: stripping of the "shaggy" shake continues...sanding of the front poplar in preparation for primer has begun. Anyone have any opinion on oil-based versus latex primer?
