Due to record rainfall over the past week, the "strip operation" has been moved to the front porch...boy, the house sure is going to be ugly for awhile! The clapboards are in surprisingly good shape, we have not found any in need of replacement thus far. Our satisfaction level with Strip-Tox is high, though it is taking more than one coat to get down to bare wood...it strips the latex layers off easily and then requires another coat (and lots of muscle---where's my ibuprofen?!) to get to the layers below. BTW, the jury is still in deliberations regarding color selection.....

Rain, Rain Go Away....
